Ddenu were once called ‘lure fish’ due to the glowing lure in front of their mouths to entice fish toward them, though this was before people realized eels were not fish. Besides their lure, the tip of each fin and their mouths glow with a golden bioluminescence. They are not very large when born, but depending on how old they are they can get very very big. They live in the deep ocean however, so are not well known to man past a very small size.

Ddenu live in the Seas and Oceans.

Ddenu eat fish and small insects which they lure to them. They are solitary creatures only getting together each year to mate and for them that just means males fertilizing eggs along the seabed laid by the females.
