Smilodon fatalis sergiodlarosa

Larosa are a catlike species of Celestia related to Atrox and Serum. It is larger than most of its cousins, possessing a massive chest and front legs, and is the largest known variety of sabre-toothed cat. It ranges between 1 m to 1.22 m (48 in/4 feet) high at the shoulder, and 2.6 m (100 in) long on average. With an estimated weight of 360 to 470 kg (790 to 1,000 lb) on the high end to 160 to 280 kg (350 to 620 lb) on the low end. Its upper canines reach up to 30 cm (12 in) and protrude up to 17 cm (6.7 in) out of the upper jaw.

Variations of the Larosa exist in Grasslands, Steppes or Prairies, and Mountains. They avoid forests or jungles for the most part, preferring more open terrain.

Larosa are carnivores, though they have occasionally been spotted eating certain plants. Like their cousins they tend to prefer large herd animals as prey.

Larosa form into packs lead by the dominant female within the group. These packs typically contain two to six Larosa each, with the largest ever reported consisting of eight Larosa.
