Land of Legends
Sungari are massive elephant-like mammals. They were often equipped with long curved tusks and, in northern species, a covering of long hair. They can be as large as 5.5 metres (18 ft) tall at the shoulder, 9 metres (30 ft) in length from nose to rump, a maximum raised head height of about 8 metres (26 ft), and a skull length of 1.5 metres (4.9 ft). Weight can vary greatly, but most weigh up to about 20 tonnes. Some recovered Sungari tusks have measured more than 11 feet (3.4 meters) long.
Variations of the Sungari exist in Grasslands, Jungles, Steppes or Prairies, and Forests. They tend toward tropical environments, though are not exclusive to them and in fact have had dwarf version with thick fur that used to exist in the tundra.
Sungari are herbivores. They are capable of eating entire trees down to the roots.
Sungari live mostly in groups including females and kids. Males on the other hand tend to live solitary lives.
